Dr. Rockower was born in New York and grew up in sunny South Florida, and she earned her undergraduate degree in Biology at Florida State University. She then went on to received her Master's in Biomedicine at Florida Atlantic University, where she conducted clinical research in Dry Eye diseases. She entered Nova Southeastern University where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry and then completing her residency in 2009, major in evaluation and managing of glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and low vision evaluation and dispensing, as well as, assisting specialist in the care of neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastics, retinal specialist and general ophthalmology. Dr. Rockower is also a college instructor, teaching the local universities in science and medical didactic courses. She is also an active member of the Florida Optometric Association and the American Optometric Student Association. It is Dr. Rockower's pleasure to provide all of our patients with her experience, knowledge and passion in diagnosing and treating ocular disease in our Lake Worth office.
