James Fleischman, M.D.




Dr. Fleischman is an Eye Physician and Surgeon who has been successfully practicing ophthalmology for 30 years. Educated at Princeton University and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Fleischman did his Ophthalmology Residency at New York University-Bellevue Medical Center, and did further fellowship training in the Anterior Segment of the eye at the Katzen Eye Institute affiliated with the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He patented an innovative design for an Intraocular Lens Implant used in cataract surgery, and he did pioneering research with the first YAG Laser in the United States for treatments after cataract surgery. He has authored several articles in major ophthalmic journals, and has lectured at a number of eye institutes around the country.

Dr. Fleischman brings his vast experience and state of the art techniques to treat the patients of Visual Health and Surgical Center of Lake Worth and Jupiter.
